Limitless: Amplifying potential on the edge of chaos

Imagine having both the mental flexibility and skills to jump on the board of life and ride the waves of disruption. Imagine feeling brave enough to chase the next big swell and harness your adrenaline long enough to push through the limits of what you thought possible. Imagine having the capacity to accelerate your learning ability to generate new knowledge and skills by 240%, and your creativity by 400%.

This keynote is a wake-up call. Vanessa Vershaw, global high-performance coach and psychological transformation expert, will show you how to be at your best when it matters the most.

This intention of this keynote is to:

  • unapologetically disrupt your thinking;

  • elevate your thinking to a higher state of consciousness and trick your mind into an optimal and sustained state of happiness and high performance; and

  • arm you with the knowledge to lead yourself and your organisations through chaos and into a brave future.

When Resilience is Not Enough: Building your Calm in the Eye of the Storm

Currently, many people feel like they are on a permanent rollercoaster they can’t get off.

The COVID-19 crisis places us at the edge of a new reality. It is one of those events that tests our mental fortitude under extreme circumstances. So, what is it that differentiates those who chase the upswing of a crisis and those who crack under pressure? How do you become energised by life challenges versus seeing them as obstacles to be overcome?

We have all heard of resilience - it’s the ability to control your emotions in bad or negative situations. It’s how you cope after bad stuff has happened. But what about presilience? The more important moment in managing yourself actually comes before the negative happens. Presilient people train their brains to move into a heightened state of calm, which then enables them to get into a fast flow state to thrive and evolve in times of seismic paradigm change.

This global pandemic highlights that being able to train our brains to deal better with catastrophic and unforeseen events before they happen means we are less likely to go down with them. Presilience moves us faster into a positive head space faster, even in the face of impending danger or when we are afraid.

The intention of this keynote is to:

  • inspire you to take charge of you life;

  • teach you how to get into a heightened state of flow, so you can evolve and adapt; and

  • help you build your presilience muscle so that you can cope with life no matter what gets thrown at you.

Talking about sex and the inclusion revolution

Diversity, gender equity and inclusion are still all hot topics at the moment. It gained the #2 spot in top workplace trends for 2019 after artificial intelligence and machine learning. There have definitely been some bright spots of movement at the senior levels, yet the reality is that the battle for equity is still out of reach.

So, what’s really going on?

In this fresh take on the gender equity conversation, Vanessa takes us on a journey of evolution to understand the role our biology plays in driving our behaviours and our life choices as men and women. She forces us to take a good hard look at how we are setting ourselves up for success or failure in our working lives.

Participants will leave this session with:

  • heightened awareness and gender equity top of mind;

  • clarity around what you are doing to hijack your own success;

  • new strategies to take control of your career and even the playing field.

This inspiring session reminds us how the extraordinary can be achieved when men and women work together as a community of equals.

“Hi Vanessa, just wanted to say a huge thank you for yesterday. You are such an amazing and engaging presenter. The other thing that struck me, other than the awesome content, was that you are one of the only presenters I've seen that not only answered questions, but took a deep dive in to that question with compelling examples. Clearly illustrating how amazingly well you know your sh*t. You were flawless and inspiring...I sincerely hope our paths cross again some day. Thanks again.”

John Williams

Delivering a mesmerising performance, Vanessa's timely reminder that we need to lean into the discomfort (and uncertainty) was captivating and inspiring.”

“Vanessa was our Keynote Speaker for our annual AURIMS conference for risk professionals. Engaging attendees on the last day of any Conference can be a massive challenge, however Vanessa blew everyone away! Not only was she engaging, insightful, personable and funny, her style and manner of communication kept everyone awake and on the edge of their seat. The feedback was that it was one of the best keynotes they could remember. I really couldn’t recommend her highly enough to any organisation.”
